Arthur W. Putzel, Principal and Broker of Trout Daniel & Associates, LLC, has spent over two decades working in numerous capacities in commercial real estate brokerage, development and management.

Prior to his work with TD&A, Art was the Vice President and Controller of the Trout, Segall & Doyle companies since 1987. He is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and is a licensed broker. His development activities focus on conducting project financial analyses and arranging for financing. His brokerage activities are focused on the Baltimore metropolitan area.

Formerly the Deputy Director for Economic Development in Baltimore County, Maryland, Art also spent four years negotiating and administering contracts for a major Baltimore defense contractor.

Art has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1987. He is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants, a member of ICSC and is President of the Pikesville-Greenspring Community Coalition, Inc., an umbrella organization of eighteen community groups.

Art's education includes a B.S. in Economics and a B.S. Urban Studies from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Phi Beta Kappa, Sigma Xi honoraries); a M.S. Urban Planning from the Johns Hopkins University; and further course work in accounting at Loyola College of Maryland.

Art’s interests include woodworking, home improvement and reading.
